First day : Departure the morning by 4WD from Ouarzazate to Agdez (where the Draa Valley starts), a short stop to have a rest, then driving through the off-road along the Draa Valley (ancient road of Caravans) to arrive to Zagora for having Lunch.
In the afternoon we drive to Mhamid (the end of the paved road), going on by 4x4 to cross 20 km in the sahara to join the bivouac which is situated inside the High Dunes of Erg Lihoudi, having some tea before riding camels for an hour and a half around the dunes to enjoy a lovely sun set, Dinner and night in the Bivouac (Nomadic tents).
N.B : From time to time we will use tracks instead of paved roads.
Second day : Enjoying the wonderful sun rise in the early morning, possibility to enjoy a lovely walk around the dunes after having breakfast. Departure by 4x4 through another track passing via Hammada (stony desert) to join the paved road and driving to Tamagroute where we visit the Qoranic Library, the underground kasbah and the pottery factory. We drive to Tamnougalt Kasbah (one of the most ancient Kasbahs in the south of Morocco) where we have lunch. In the afternoon, we drive via another track to join the paved road. We reach Ouarzazate at the end of the day, crossing the mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tinfifite (1660 m).
First day : After breakfast we drive by 4WD from Ouarzazate to Tinghir (170km) via the Skoura oasis where we drive through a nice track to discover different Kasbahs inside the palm trees. After that we drive through the paved road to reach the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley. We arrive to the Toudra Gorges in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, we carry on our trip until we reach the Village of Erfoud from where we drive through a lovely truck (stony Desert) which leads directly to the Merzouga Dunes. Right after we have a cup of tea in the Bivouac, then we enjoy a lovely camel ride for two hours so that to reach the Highest Dunes of Erg Chebi (250m), where you have a wonderful opportunity to watch the sunset. We have dinner and spend the night in a Luxury bivouac (Nomadic tents).
Second day : After breakfast we drive back to Ouarzazate driving through the Dra´a Valley passing by the villages of Tazarine, N´Qob where we lunch, in the afternoon we drive through the ancient road of Caravans (off-road) to be in the focal point of the lush oasis of Draa valley together with the extraordinarily well preserved walled Kasbahs, then we join the paved road in the little Berber village of Agdez from where we drive through the mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tinfifite (1660m). We arrive to Ouarzazate by the end of the day.
