First day : Departure in the morning from Ouarzazate by 4x4 to the Toudra Gorges passing by the famous Oasis of Skoura where we will have the opportunity to enjoy a nice vista of different old fashion Kasbahs closed to the Skoura palm trees, after that we drive through the paved road to reach Kelaa M'gouna village so as to drive through the lovely track (road of thousand Kasbahs) which crosses the Roses Valley leading directly to the Dades Gorges. We have lunch in a nice restaurant situated in front of the breath taking canyons. In the afternoon, we continue our trip to the Toudra Gorges where we spend the night in a nice Hotel.
Second day : After breakfast, we drive from Tinghir through an amazing truck (90km) crossing the Tizi Tazzazert pass (2283m) of the spectacular Saghro Mountains to arrive to the village of N´kob where we lunch. In the afternoon, we drive along the real attraction of the Draa Valley until we reach Zagora. We have dinner and spend the night in a nice Riad.
Third day : After having breakfast, we drive to M´hamid passing by the little historical village of Tamgroute in which we visit the well known Qoranic library, the underground Kasbah in addition to the pottery factory. Having visited Tamgroute, we carry on our trip till we reach the village of M’hamid where we enjoy a lovely camel ride around the high dunes of Erg Lihoudi. After lunch we drive about 60km (off-road crossing the huge Desert: Erg, Reg, Hammada, Oasis…) by 4 WD to reach Chagaga immense dunes (300m), where we enjoy a lovely sunset. We have dinner and spend the night in a bivouac.
Fourth day : Having breakfast in Chagaga dunes, we depart for another 90km of desert enjoying the different sceneries along the way such as Iriqui Lake, Paris-Dakar off road, the mountains and fossils. We get to the first village after the desert Foum Zguid where we have lunch. We continue our journey along paved roads via Taznakht (famous by its Berber carpets manufacture) by the end of the afternoon we arrive to the village of Agdez where we spend the night in a nice Riad inside the traditional Kasbah of Tamnougalte.
Fifth day : After discovering the Kasbah of Tamnougalte, we depart to Ouarzazate via the mountain road of Tizi-n-Tinfifite (1660m) and the Kasbah of Tifoultoute to reach the World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (which has been used as the background for some memorable scenes in many film masterpieces such as “ Lawrence of Arabia , Gladiator ……), 35 kms from Ouarzazate. We visit the Kasbah and have lunch before driving back to Ouarzazate by the end of the day.
First day : Departure the morning by 4WD from Ouarzazate to Agdez (where the Draa Valley starts), a short stop to have a rest, then driving through the off-road along the Draa Valley (ancient road of Caravans) to arrive to Zagora for having Lunch, in the afternoon we drive to M’hamid (the gate to the desert) to enjoy the lovely sun set in the first dunes close to the village. Dinner and night in a bivouac (nomadic tents).
Second, third and fourth days : We trek for three days and 3 nights by dromedary to discover the most beautiful desert of Morocco and its vast dunes (Erg, Reg-Hamada, Oasis …). We arrive the fourth day afternoon to the famous Cheggaga Dunes where you enjoy a lovely sun set on the top of Erg Laabidlia (300 m), dinner and night in the bivouac close to the high dunes.
NB - Trekking : We walk approximately 5 Hours a day (2 hours and a half in the morning, idem in the afternoon). Meals, tents will be prepared by Our Guides and Camel men. You will have camels to ride, Camels for carrying the stuff as well.
Fifth day : After having breakfast, we drive back by the 4WD through another off-road crossing 60 Km in the Sahara, we arrive to the village of M’hamid for having a shower, then we reach Zagora by the paved road, we lunch in a nice Riad. We reach Ouarzazate at the end of the day.
